The Manor Auxiliary

Formed in 2016,  The Manor Auxiliary is made up of dedicated volunteers that provide assistance with elder comfort and care – improving the quality of life for elders and their families at The Manor Long-Term Care Home.

Projects include:

  • Special occasion bus trips to see fall colours, Christmas lights and community outings
  • Birthday and holiday gifts
  • Weekly entertainment
  • Therapeutic gardens
  • Palliative care
  • Recreational and therapeutic equipment

Volunteer Opportunities
Activities include luncheons, delivering flowers for new elders and elder birthdays, assistance with community outings, and various fundraising activities such as selling tickets for 50/50 draws, pie making and special events.

Membership
New members are always welcome.
Meetings: the 4th Tuesday of every month (except July and August).
