The Lodge Auxiliary

Active for more than 40 years.  The Lodge Auxiliary is made up of dedicated volunteers that raise funds for The Lodge and provide assistance with resident comfort and care.

Your donation(s) provide innovative care, access to restorative and therapeutic equipment, and programs that improve the quality of life for residents and their families.

Since its inception in 1971, the Auxiliary has donated almost half a million dollars and has made numerous contributions to the Home, including:

  • Annual funding for special occasion bus trips to see fall colours, Christmas lights and community outings
  • Birthday and holiday gifts
  • Weekly entertainment
  • Therapeutic gardens
  • Palliative care
  • Recreational and therapeutic equipment
  • Computer lab

Volunteer Opportunities
Activities include luncheons, working in the tuck shop, delivering flowers for new residents and resident birthdays, assistance with community outings, and various fundraising activities such as selling tickets for 50/50 draws, pie making and special events.

Membership
New members are always welcome.  $2.00 annual membership fee.
Meetings: the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except July and August).
